Performance
All the new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid models have a four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that comes with two electric motors and a battery pack to deliver 219 horsepower. One electric motor comes situated in the front of the SUV, while the other comes positioned in the back. The powertrain also includes an automatic continuously variable transmission and AWD, delivering a smooth drive through Santa Monica.
Exterior and Interior Features
The front-end of the RAV4 has a sharply angled mesh grille that mirrors the shape of the lower engine vent. Narrow, angled headlights border the grille and ride high just beneath the hood and veer backward. The vehicle's sides get sharply angled and sculpted lines that accentuate the rear wheels.
