The upcoming 2020 model is Toyota’s fourth-generation SUV redesign from the ground up, and here are a few things you can expect:

2020 Highlander’s New Look

Playa Vista drivers can expect a new sophisticated look, which covers a new vehicle platform called Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA-K). This new foundation, which is shared with other Toyota models, enables more capability, comfort, and safety than ever before.

The Highlander will also offer the option of a powerful V6 or new-generation hybrid powertrain, with the gas version offering an EPA-estimated 22 mpg combined fuel economy. The hybrid model is expected to have a manufacturer-estimated 34 mpg combined fuel economy.
