I can not believe I am giving a car dealership 5 stars, but
I am. And only because of the salesperson that I dealth with...
Now I have no experience with the Service Department, but based on the Yelp
reviews here, I will never have my car serviced here.
My vehicle was stolen recently, so I was in the market for a new one. I
went on carsdirect, and was sent quotes from 3 different dealerships.
Santa Monica was the highest of the three, so I didn't really think twice
about them. But shortly after I received the quotes, I had a call from
ESTHER, in the internet sales department.
She asked what my lowest quote was, and beat it. I was so skeptical
before going in, thinking "If something is too good to be true, it
probably is." Her quote seemed too good to be true. I kept
thinking " + fees. + fees. + fees. That's how she's going to
swindle me. Everything is going to be a fee. Electric windows?
FEE!" But that didn't happen. The price she quoted me
over the phone was the ACTUAL PRICE she charged me when I got there. She
did not try to sell me any extra features, or a more expensive model, or lie to
me one bit. She was 100% upfront, and when I got there, everything was as
she promised.
The finance guy was annoying - - - it's really frustrating to hear them pitch a
$6k warranty package that you'll never use, over and over and over again.
These guys do not understand the word, "No", but gave up on me
after the 5th pitch. But that was the only bad thing about the
experience. The most time consuming part was waiting for the car to be
cleaned.
Overall, this is the first time that I have ever left from buying a new
car...and felt refreshed. Just make sure you deal with ESTHER!!
