EV Charger Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On Friday, November 19, LAcarGUY unveiled the second installment of our "open-access" electric vehicle charging station network at Toyota Santa Monica in front of city officials. The president of Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, Laurel Rosen, led the ribbon cutting at the official ceremony, while Senator Fran Pavley's Senior Field representative, Stephanie Molen, plugged in the "first charge" on behalf of the Senator.

"We are proud to announce the installation of Level 2 Clipper Creek Chargers at Toyota Santa Monica", said LAcarGUY President/Owner. LAcarGUY's family of automotive dealerships are the first in the country to offer community access to the EV chargers at no cost to drivers and we look forward to expanding Los Angeles' EV charging network.

Senator Fran Pavley's representative also presented Toyota Santa Monica's General Manager, Bill Rinker, with a Sustainable Business award, for their green efforts in Santa Monica. Toyota Santa Monica prides itself on being a good citizen in Santa Monica and continues to support green organizations such as Heal The Bay, Global Green, EMA and Sustainable Works.
